This site is run by Get My Gold Card. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Eligibility checker: Your answers to the eligibility questions and, if you choose to provide it, your email address. Your answers are used to generate your personalised result. If you enter your email, we send you a copy of your result and may follow up with relevant guidance.

Application form: Your name, email, phone number, and the information you provide about your qualifications and experience. This is shared with our partner City & Guilds assessment centre so they can contact you to discuss your options.

Contact form: Your name, email, and message content.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. This collects anonymised data about page views, device type, and general location (country/region level, not your address). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

What we do with it

• Send you your eligibility result if you request it
• Pass your details to our accredited assessment centre if you submit an application (with your explicit consent)
• Reply to your contact form messages
• Improve the site based on anonymised usage data

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not add you to marketing email lists. We do not share your information with third parties beyond what's described above.

Email

We use Resend to send transactional emails (your eligibility result, application confirmation). These are one-off emails triggered by your actions, not marketing campaigns.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors. No other third-party cookies are used. The site itself does not set any cookies for tracking purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email hello@getmygoldcard.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Application and contact form submissions are retained for 12 months, then deleted. Eligibility checker results are retained for 6 months. Analytics data is retained per Google's default settings (14 months).

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We won't reduce your rights without telling you.
